It's hard to work from home with no internet!

I'm beginning to think my internet cable provider wants to get me fired! I missed my shift today for the third time in a week due to no internet. Yikes! That's the down side of telecommuting, you miss work due to no fault of your own. I'm the kind of person who rarely misses work. I have to be really sick or there has to be an emergency for me to call off. The situation is very frustrating...and I couldn't even go on line to pass the time!
